This is a poem from last year(5th Grade) that you must read!! It is so funny! And, most of all, it’s for Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. Here it is:
When I was in a battle,
The old plane rattled
I chased a fat cattle
all the way to Seattle.
The animal bit my finger
and I was sent to linger.
I was sent into jail
and the animal turned me into kale.
The cattle beat me really hard
No I’m not lying
But I’m dying.
I was sent flying
Onto the road
And then a truck
ran over me.
Ten years later
I turned into an alligator
And ate him up.
I threw a teacup
Onto the shore
But I accidentally ate up a door.
I went up into space
Where there was a black hole
I went in
And I met a mole
The mole had lasers
And he shot me on the head
I accidentally ate some lead
And then I was dead.
