Recently researchers in Seattle have found an antibody named S2H97 that could fight off multiple coronaviruses! Specifically, the antibody binds to a part of a viral protein that latches onto a human host cell when it tries to infect the healthy cell.
This is a very important discovery because it could help the world back to what we called “normal life” in 2019. In addition, it may help us be more prepared if the next coronavirus pops up in the future; we may be able to develop cures faster than ever.
