Today we went to a nearby plaza called the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall(中正紀念堂). The huge plaza features the National Theater(國家戲劇院), the National Concert Hall(國家音樂廳) and the actual Memorial Hall itself.
Since our family decided to postpone swim practice for me, we decided that I should run in the CKS Memorial Hall since you could get some sunshine while staying at least six feet from people. These days there aren’t too many people in the plaza unless you count the weekends.
I wasn’t really into running by myself too often so I ended up only running about 1.8 miles or three laps around the interior plaza. In the next days, my goal is to reach five laps around the interior plaza, or about miles. My dad now is also running at the plaza and runs about ten laps, which is about ten kilometers. Since he is busy sometimes, he will also have a go for five laps.
I hope I can run more and more in the next few days! 😅
