Now, to start, questions can be very hard or very easy to answer. Today I am going to answer one of the most fundamental and simple questions BUT with a twist to the answer. So, my question is:
How do we know that the Earth is round without going into space yourself?
I asked this at dinner, a random question that popped up in my mind. Eventually, with a bit of logic in my thinking, I have found the solution to the question!! Just saying I won’t actually test this on my own, though. So here it is:

First, imagine a rocket with a lot of fuel, so it can orbit the earth once. Then, launch the rocket so it is orbiting the earth, with a ten feet altitude.
- If the Earth is flat, the rocket should keep going in the same direction. However, if the Earth is round, then it should come across the launch pad since it orbited the Earth. Try tracing the Equator on a globe with your finger. Let’s say you begin in Africa. Your finger will orbit the globe once, and eventually, you will see your finger go across Africa again. So with all of the experimental reasoning, therefore THE EARTH IS ROUND!
