This is my second insect observing lab! I am very excited to share with you the pictures and what I found about my observations! 🙂 It turns out that my mom caught a housefly before she caught the mosquito. The housefly has spectacular and disgusting hairy legs, and the legs must have a lot of bacteria in them! Did you also know that time for a housefly slows down, and that’s why when you try to kill a fly it usually jumps up before you could hit the fly.  The mosquito is even more disgusting than the housefly because when I wanted to see the inside, I smooshed it with a tweezer and a white substance squirted out of the mosquito. It could be the insides, or it could be the brain or something. Overall, it was really fun looking at insects. Later I will be posting some other biological things, too!
