The Legend of King Arthur and His Knights at the Round Table is an ancient classic originating from the 12th century up to the late 20th century. It is also considered as a “Penguin Classic” and is written in many languages.

This tale of the legendary King Arthur is very special because of the many authors that write this tale in their own style. Regardless of who wrote the edition, it is a good tale if you enjoy knights, kings, queens and other medieval characters.

The story starts off describing the old King Uther Pendragon already describing his will that his son, Arthur shall inherit the throne and be the next great king of England. After Uther Pendragon dies, there is a legend such that whoever pulls the legendary sword Excalibur out of its stone, he shall be the next king of England. Knights, barons, and priests all try, but none of them could even wedge the sword an inch. Then, at the age of fifteen, Arthur Pendragon pulls Excalibur out and gets crowned. Soon, he starts a raging war against eleven kings and officially starts the famous gathering of the Round Table.
