Amazon is offering a special offer of nine books for you to download on your account! How neat! Check it out here.

In addition, today is a time for us to read some classics. Well, what do I mean by “classics”?

I am referring “classics” to those books that are old-fashioned but really good for your imagination, vocabulary and history. These books are the ones that are famous for their works, especially during the eighteenth-nineteenth century. Some examples of classics include:

  • 1984 by George Orwell
  • Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare
  • The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexander Dumas
  • The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux
  • To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee
  • Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo
  • and many more!

All of these are really good classics, and you can certainly find more online or on Amazon.

I’m personally reading The Phantom of the Opera because of the inspiration of the 1988 play edition. I wanted to see what differs in the original version(1909-1910) than the play, but I presume that there isn’t many love stories in the book as in the play, which is good since you can read more of the “meat” of the plot than just all “lovey lovey” stuff in the play.

So without any delays: Happy Reading! Don’t forget to share some of these classics or this post with your friends! 😃
