Chocolate cake (yes, math)

This is a super late post, but I ought to make a post for my birthday.

We didn’t do anything extravagant or super special, but I made a super nice cake with my mom and wrapped dumplings with both of my parents. Check these cool photos out!

It feels weird to turn eighteen – it’s hard to believe that I’m legally an adult now. I get to sign forms, but I certainly still feel like a child. Eight to ten seemed like a long time, but thirteen to seventeen went like a blip for me. Through my adolescence, I’ve learned a lot knowledge-wise, about my family, and about myself.

I miss my good old childhood days when I got to play Legos for who knows how long, read endless space books, and be genuinely curious all the time. But I’m sure that there will be many gems in the year and road ahead, and I’m looking forward to striving to become my best and help others out. The best is yet to be!

Thanks to all the teachers who have given me the courage and confidence to be my authentic self and grow into a responsible human being.

Thanks to all my classmates, peers and friends who’ve cheered me on through life. You guys are amazing people that I can rely on whenever I need help.

I thank my entire family for supporting me throughout my entire life. Mom and Dad especially, who have worked so hard to get me here. Thanks for supporting me through the toughest of moments, helping me realize my potential and encouraging me to become the best person I could ever be. I love you to the end of the universe and back to earth \( 10^{\100} \) times <3

Thank you God for everything you’ve given me. Everything you’ve done in my life leaves me speechless, and I will continue to follow You for the rest of my days. I praise You, worship You, and love You. Amen.
